Bacarrat Strategies
As you should know by now, there are 3 different bets that you can make in Baccarat. You can bet on yourself,
the dealer or a tie (or any combination of them).
The hand with the best odds (smallest casino edge) is the dealer's hand, with a tie having the biggest casino
edge.
So what does this mean? Always bet on the dealer!
However, if the dealer (and you if you bet on him) wins, you only get 95% of your wager back. So we have to find
a way to make sure we get enough profit back to cover the wagers. This is where a simple progression plan comes
in.
The Baccarat Strategy
Step 1:
Decide on the amount you want to risk for the session. Now take the session bankroll you decided on and divide it
by 50. This will be your "unit value". For example: If you decide to play with $200, your unit value will be
$4.
Step 2:
Bet 1 unit on the dealer to win and deal the cards.
Step 3:
If you win, go back to step 2. If you lose, follow the progression below until you win or until your bet of 21
units lose.
Deal nr
Units bet |
1

2

3

When to stop:
A good guideline is to finish a session if you either win 20% (10 units) of your total risk or if you go through a
whole progression (up to 21 units) without winning. Log out of the casino and wait a while before starting a new
session.
You can see that the dealer only needs 1 win in every 6 hands to win. Actually the dealer wins almost every 2nd
hand, so it will be very rare to go through the whole progression without winning.
