Blackjack Strategies
The below Blackjack strategy is very straightforward, but surprisingly effective. Blackjack is a steady
game without big swings of winning or losing money. What the following strategy is going to do is just
give you a little bit of an edge.
The strategy consists of two parts.
The first part is deciding when to "hit", "stand" or place special bets. Below is a Blackjack Strategy
Card which will tell you all these things. Plus, you can print it off if you want to play at an offline
casino!

So now that we have our strategy card the next part in our strategy is wagering - how much to bet.
Step 1:
Decide how much you want to risk (remember that you can lose the money). Then calculate how much a betting "unit"
is going to be based on your money being equal to 20 units. Example: If
you have $100 to play with, a betting unit will be $5 (100 divide by 20).
Step 2:
Start off by betting 1 unit.
Step 3:
Each time you lose, increase your bet by 1 unit. Each time you win, decrease your bet by 1 unit. This will continue
until you have either two winners in a row or bet 8 units.
Step 4:
If you have 2 winners in a row, go back to step 2. You are now ahead. After betting 8 units, also go back to step
2. This is to break any winning or losing streaks.
When to stop:
A good rule is to take a break if you won 20% to 25% of your starting bankroll. So if you started with $100 (as per
the example above), then take a break after you have won $20 to $25. Relax and do something else for half an hour
before starting again.
Advanced Strategies
There are a lot of blackjack strategies floating around. Most of them are silly and will only help you lose
money. After spending a lot of time and money evaluating and implementing different blackjack strategies,
Blackjack Sniper was one of the best guides out there.
